What is ESG Evaluation?

The term ESG refers to three main pillars that define the sustainable development of companies: Environment, Social, and Governance. (Governance). These three areas constitute a comprehensive approach to assessing the social and environmental footprint of a business and serve as a key indicator for investors, shareholders, and consumers interested in sustainable practices.

Environment (Environmental)

The environmental component of the assessment focuses on the actions of the business that impact the environment. This includes the management of natural resources, energy efficiency, reduction of carbon emissions, and waste management. Companies like SPYROPOULOS S.A., which incorporate strategies to reduce their environmental footprint, receive higher ratings and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability.
