Panagiotis Giannakis, Thodoris Papaloukas, Dimos Dikoudis and Dimitris Agravanis were in Water Square for the Final of the EcoFest 2021 3on3 Basketball Tournament. The most unexpected surprise of the day, however, was Sakis Tanimanidis in the role of… sportscaster!
The EcoFest 2021 3on3 Basketball Tournament continues in Nero Square as part of the three-day event for environmental awareness. On Saturday morning it was the turn of the Energy Companies Tournament. Amateur athletes and basketball friends from the companies – supporters of EcoFest 2021 had an extreme basketball breakfast.
All the games kept the interest of the visitors undiminished, one of whom was Sakis Tanimanidis. The well-known presenter took his morning bike ride in the wider area, when he located the stadium and made a short stop. The racing action affected him so much, in fact, that he asked for the microphone to comment on the game himself!
The Final of the Energy Companies Tournament had the greatest interest both on and off the field! Panagiotis Giannakis, Thodoris Papaloukas, Dimos Dikoudis, as official guests, but also Dimitris Agravanis, as guest star, watched the “battle” for the title of Ecoist Winner. After an exciting game and a big upset, Spyropoulos SA emerged as the big cup winner of the Tournament, which won a free stadium rental at the Eurohoops Dome, Spalding balls with the signatures of distinguished guests and collectible ecological gifts from EcoFest 2021. The second DESFA team won the position, while Akuo Energy Greece was in third place.
Thodoris Papaloukas, Dimos Dikoudis and Dimitris Agravanis continued their walk at EcoFest 2021 and visited the second stadium which has been set up in Nero Square, next to the marina. There, they participated in the recycling of sports shoes, while testing their knowledge of ecology, taking part in fun basketball and eco challenges.
