A windfall record of 92 gigawatts was found in Europe's wind generation on Tuesday as it was 87 gigawatts, WindEurope said.

More specifically, on that day, 2.1 terawatt hours were generated by the wind, that is to say 100 gigawatt hours less than the record of December 8, 2018. As Platts states, the largest percentage was observed in Denmark and Germany with 94% and 60% respectively, while prices dropped to EUR 34.50 per megawatt on Epex Spot and NordPool.
